Time Tracking Log- Web (now includes paused time)

Updated approvals which include break time (pause time)

Inside our mobile app, teams can record travel time as well as clock in and clock out of jobs using their Team app.

We now allow teams to pause their time once while they are checked into the booking. This can account for a break or any other time where the team is not working but still at the job.

Inside web, you are able to view these Time tracking Logs, edit them manually, and approve them.

Access your time tracking logs from your Active Bookings Page by clicking the credit card icon and going to Time Tracking Logs.

  1. On the top right of your screen, select the date for the booking log you want to view.

  2. On this page, any booking in the system for that date (active or cancelled) with an assigned team, will have a gear icon you can click to edit the log for that particular team and approve it.

3. If no editing is needed you can directly approve logs by clicking Pending within the status section to open the drop down

Update Logs

If needed you can manually update team logs by clicking Edit via the gear icon for the individual booking record.

  • Travel time is calculated by the en route start and en route end times.

    • If the team clicks on the way in the app, it will track their travel time and distance.

  • Distance is calculated based on the location of when team clicks on the way in comparison to the booking address. Distance calculations are finalized once the team checks into the job.

    • Based on your location, distance is set automatically to calculate based off miles or km.

  • Time reported is calculated by the checked in and checked out times.

    • Reminder: If geo fence is enabled- teams cannot check in or out if they are too far from the booking address (1/4 mile or .402km)

Approve logs

Approve time tracking logs without having to login to the mobile app by clicking the gear icon for the team and using the Status dropdown.

Please note: If your wage method is set to hourly, you will have all the below approval methods as time directly impacts wage calculated for your teams.

You have several options for how to approve logs is the Status dropdown.

  • Approved

    • Time is approved, including the total time credited which is based off the hours assigned within the assign to pop up.

  • Approved + Update Team with Time Reported

    • Includes the total time the team checked in and checked out of the booking. Break time is included.

  • Approved + Update Team with Time Reported & Travel Time

    • Includes travel time (when the team marked they were on the way) plus the total time checked in and checked out of the booking. Break time is included

The below two options are if you wish to DEDUCT the break time from time reported

  • Approved + Update Team with Time Reported – Break Time

    • Includes the total time the team checked in and checked out of the booking, reduced by any break time.

  • Approved + Update Team with Time Reported & Travel Time – Break Time

    • Includes travel time plus the total time the team checked in and checked out of the booking, reduced by any break time.

  • Rejected

    • Time is not approved by staff or admin.

  • Pending

    • Time is awaiting approval or rejection.

View History

Within the time tracking log on web, click the gear icon and View History to view a log of any changes or approvals done to the log.

This log will include any manual changes done by staff to the log on the way, check in or check out times as well as approval history

PLEASE NOTE: You must manually un assign a team from a cancelled booking so that the cancelled booking does not show a time tracking log for the team inside this page.
