Works Order Tab on Rental Orders

This new tab allows users to view related works orders (e.g., breakdowns, repairs) directly from the rental order screen, improving visibility and access to maintenance activities.

  • Improved visibility of maintenance activity linked to rentals.

  • Faster access to breakdowns and repairs.

Step By Step:


Step 1: Open a Rental Order

  • Navigate to the Orders section.

  • Select the order you want to view.

Step 2: Locate the New “Works Order” Tab

  • Once inside the rental order, look for the new tab labeled “Works Orders”.

  • This tab is typically located alongside other tabs like Details, Items, Documents, etc.

Step 3: View Linked Works Orders

  • Click on the Works Orders tab.

  • You’ll see a list of all related works orders associated with this rental order.

    • These may include breakdowns, repairs, or scheduled maintenance.

Step 4: Access Individual Works Orders

  • Click on any listed works order to open it.

  • You can view full details such as:

    • Status (e.g., Open, In Progress, Completed)

    • Description of the issue

    • Assigned technician

    • Dates and times

    • Notes and attachments

Create a Works Order within an Order

  1. Go to the 3 dots on your order item, when your item is "On Rent "

  2. Click "works order breakdown"

  3. Fill in your details and press okay to create the works order:
