Document Archive

Updated over 2 weeks ago

Why This Is Useful

  • Track changes over time:

    • Quotations that have been revised.

    • Contracts that were updated, re-issued, or had items added.

  • Maintain a clear audit trail for compliance and customer transparency.

Step-by-Step Guide: Document

1. Understand What Document Archive Does

  • Every time you preview a document, OnRent Go checks for changes.

  • If any content has been modified (even a small detail), a new version is automatically created.

  • These versions are stored in the Document Archive tab for that record (e.g., Orders, Quotations, Contracts).

2. How to Access Archived Versions

  1. Open the relevant record
Example: An Order, Quotation, or Contract.

  2. Go to the Document Archive tab

    • In some areas, this may appear as Document Transactions.

  3. View the list of archived documents

    • From this release onward, every generated document is stored automatically.

  4. Click on any archived entry

    • You’ll see the document exactly as it appeared at that point in time.
