Mandatory Movement Photos

Photos can be required when signing product movements (e.g. dispatch, book out, returns), ensuring accurate visual records are captured every time. These images are also automatically included on customer-facing documents.

Step By Step:

Step 1: Enable the Permission in Roles

Before photos can be made mandatory, users must have access to capture and upload images.

  1. Go to Settings

  2. Select Roles

  3. Choose the role you want to update

  4. Go to workplace

  5. Locate

  6. Enable the permission

  7. Click Save

βœ… Tip: Apply this to all operational roles responsible for dispatching or receiving equipment.

Step 2: Apply the Requirement to Products

Once enabled at a role level, you can configure which products require photos.

  1. Navigate to Products

  2. Open the product you want to update

  3. Navigate to the Required images section section

  4. Enable Require photos on movement (dispatch, book out, returns)

  5. Save the product

βœ… You can repeat this for multiple products as needed.

Step 3: Capture Photos During Movements

When users process a movement:

  1. Start a Dispatch, Book Out, or Return

  2. At the signing stage, users will be prompted to:

    • Take or upload photos

  3. Photos must be added before the movement can be completed
