Send Did You Know Announcements

Point out important benefits and perks that employees may not be aware of by adding a special Did You Know designation to your announcements. This is a great way to call out lesser-known but valuable benefits your company offers. It's especially helpful for employees that are new to Pendant or new to the company. If you'd like to set an announcement to auto-send when employees sign-up, reach out to your Pendant contact.

To send Did You Know announcements:

  1. From Workplace, click Add Announcement.

  2. Click the Type drop-down and then select Did You Know?

  3. Add a title and the body of the announcement. Feel free to use the formatting tools, too.

  4. For super users only: Choose to send this announcement to new employees when they sign up. Under Notify New Employees, select Send As Notification To New Employees.

    Note: Reach out to your Pendant contact if you'd like to enable this feature but don't see it.

  5. Select recipients for the message. Select All, or pick only a specific group or groups.

  1. Click Save Draft to store for later, or Send Announcement if it's ready to go.
