Congrats, you're ready to share Pendant with the company by inviting them to log in and explore their benefits.

What do we do now?!

Don’t worry, it’s easy, and your Pendant rep will walk you through each step. We recommend the following plan for announcing Pendant to your organization:

  1. Start by sending a company-wide email teaser. Don’t worry, we have a template ready for you (see below). This is not an invitation to sign up—it’s a preflight email to build anticipation and excitement.

  2. Send in your employee roster. Pendant will add employees to the site, but we'll need their email addresses and Group designation first (full- or part-time). Send a spreadsheet or list of your employee's email addresses to your Pendant representative.

  3. Go live! Once your site is reviewed and ready, it's time to go live! Your Pendant Representative will take of this step and invite employees to the site via email.

  4. Send a reminder email. After a day or two (it’s your choice), send a company-wide email inviting employees to log in to their Pendant account.

  5. Send one more reminder. Everyone needs reminders. It’s completely normal for an organization to need a reminder (several, even) to join anything unfamiliar and new.

TEMPLATES! You have access to templates for all three emails above in your Pendant interface. These templates include your organization’s unique sign up link.

What happens when employees click the login link?

  1. They will enter their first and last name and job title.

  2. That's it! They're in!

Pendant accounts are passwordless. So when employees join Pendant, it verifies their work email against your organization’s unique domain (e.g. mydomain.org).

In short: it’s secure, password-less, access.

What if an employee needs to use a personal email address?

That’s fine, send them an invite using Pendant’s interface instead. In Pendant, click Workplace, then the Employees card, then + Add Employees.

Should we hold a training for Pendant?

No! Pendant is too easy to use—don't bother with training. (But if you really want to, your Pendant Representative is happy to help.)

How else can we encourage higher adoption of Pendant?

If you have the bandwidth, the following (optional) ideas might help:

  • Share Pendant in your newsletter or bulletin. If you have an employee-facing newsletter or bulletin board, share it there!

  • Show off Pendant in an all-hands call. If you hold all-hands meetings, consider presenting the software in real-time.

  • Show it with managers. Frontline managers often play a key role in helping their direct reports understand their benefits. Consider sharing Pendant with them directly.
