Update payment, cancelation and refunds

Payment methods

You can manage your payment method on the platform where you made your initial purchase. SaveDay doesn't store any payment method information to ensure your data privacy and security

WEB APP

  • You can conveniently pay for your plan using a debit or credit card. SaveDay uses Stripe to securely process all payments

  • When paying with a debit or credit card, you'll be charged upfront for the month or year you're about to spend on SaveDay

To update your payment method, just follow these simple steps:

1. Access account settings:

  • Click on the Account and more options icon at the top-right corner of the web app

  • Click on the Settings button

  • Select the "Account" tab

2. Update payment method:

  • You will see the last four digits of your current card displayed, along with an Edit button

  • Tap on the Edit button. This action will redirect you to Stripe, where you can update your payment details as needed

MOBILE APP (IOS)

To update the payment method for SaveDay on an iOS device, just follow these simple steps:

1. Access account settings:

  • Tap the Settings app on your home screen

  • Tap your name to access your Apple ID settings at the top of the Settings menu

  • Select Payment & Shipping

  • Enter your Apple ID password or use Face ID/Touch ID to authenticate

2. Update payment method:

  • Tap Add Payment Method and enter the required information

  • Tap Done in the top right corner to save your changes

  • Update a payment method by tapping on it and changing the details as necessary

  • Delete a payment method by tapping Edit in the top right corner, selecting the red minus sign next to the payment method, and confirming with Delete

Note:

  • Your new payment method may need to be verified. Follow any on-screen instructions to complete the verification process

  • You might need to enter the security code that's printed on your credit or debit card. If you see Apple Pay after the last 4 digits of the card number, go to the Wallet app to edit the card information

MOBILE APP (ANDROID)

To update the payment method for SaveDay on an Android device, just follow these simple steps:

1. Access account settings:

  • Tap the Google Play Store app icon on your home screen or app drawer

  • Tap the three horizontal lines (hamburger icon) in the top left corner to open the menu

  • Select Payment methods from the menu

2. Update payment method:

  • Add a new payment method by tapping Add Payment Method and entering the required information

  • Update a payment method by tapping More payment settings
    - Remove a payment method by tapping More payment settings, then tap Remove next to the payment method you want to delete

Note:

  • Your new payment method may need to be verified. Follow any on-screen instructions to complete the verification process

  • If you're using Google Pay in India as a payment method, you'll need to update your UPI ID


Cancel your payment

You can only cancel your plan on the platform where you made the initial purchase

WEB APP

To cancel your plan, just follow these simple steps:

1. Access account settings:

  • Click on the Account and more options icon at the top-right corner of the web app

  • Click on the Settings button

  • Select the "Account" tab

2. Cancel your plan:

  • Find the Cancel plan button within your plan information

  • Tap on Cancel plan. You will be redirected to Stripe to complete the cancellation process

Renew your plan (Optional)

If you change your mind or if your plan period has not yet ended, you have options to renew:

1. See history and renew:

  • In the plan information section, tap on the See history button

  • You will be redirected to Stripe, where you can tap Renew plan. This action will bring back your plan with the same billing cycle as before, allowing you to continue using SaveDay without interruption

2. Rebuy cancelled plan:

  • If you have canceled a monthly plan but are still within the feature period, you can choose to purchase the same plan again

  • This action will cancel your previous cancellation and restore your billing cycle as if it was never interrupted

MOBILE APP (IOS)

  • If you subscribed to SaveDay through the Apple App Store, your subscription is managed by Apple and will need to be canceled through the subscription settings on your iOS device

To cancel your plan, just follow these simple steps:

1. Access account settings:

  • Tap the Settings app on your home screen

  • Tap your name to access your Apple ID settings at the top of the Settings menu

  • Select Subscriptions

2. Cancel your plan:

  • Find and tap on SaveDay from the list of subscriptions

  • Tap Cancel Subscription

  • Confirm your cancellation when prompted

Note:

  • Deleting your SaveDay account on the web will not cancel your SaveDay subscription

  • Your Apple App Store account will be charged 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period

  • Subscription features will remain in your account until the end of the current paid period after canceling

MOBILE APP (ANDROID)

  • If you subscribed to SaveDay through Google Subscriptions, your subscription will need to be canceled from the Google Play Store App or Google Play website while signing in with the same Google account you used to subscribe to SaveDay.

To cancel your plan via the Google Play Store App, just follow these simple steps:

1. Access account settings:

  • Tap the Google Play Store app icon on your home screen or app drawer

  • Ensure you’re signed in to the correct Google account that you used to sign up for your SaveDay subscription

  • Tap Menu > Subscriptions

2. Cancel your plan:

  • Find and select SaveDay subscription

  • Tap Cancel Subscription

  • Follow the instructions provided to complete the cancellation

To cancel your plan via the Google Play Website, just follow these simple steps:

1. Access account settings:

  • Ensure you’re signed in to the correct Google account that you used to sign up for your SaveDay subscription

  • At the left, click My subscriptions

2. Cancel your plan:

  • Find and select SaveDay subscription

  • Click Manage > Cancel Subscription

  • Within the confirmation pop-up, click Yes

Note:

  • Uninstalling the SaveDay Android app will not cancel your SaveDay subscription

  • Your Google Play Store account will be charged 24 hours prior to the end of the current subscription period

  • Subscription features will remain in your account until the end of the current paid period after canceling

Refund

  • You can only request a refund on the platform where you made the initial purchase

  • If you’d like a refund for a SaveDay plan, please be sure to cancel your subscription prior to your refund request (instructions here)

WEB APP

If you decide that SaveDay isn’t the right fit for you, you can cancel your plan and request a refund.

To request a refund, just send an email to billing@save.day. We'll be happy to refund you the full amount of your plan if you cancel your plan within 14 days of signing up, whether it's a monthly or yearly plan


Refund Process Duration:
We aim to process refunds within 5-10 days from the date of the refund request. If you haven't received your refund after this period, please contact us again at billing@save.day for further assistance

MOBILE APP (IOS, ANDROID)

  • Generally, all charges for in-app purchases are nonrefundable, and there are no refunds or credits for partially used periods. It is up to the discretion of the processor (Google Play or Apple) to successfully process the refund request.

  • If you’d like a refund for a SaveDay plan, please be sure to cancel your subscription prior to your refund request (instructions here)

Once canceled, you can follow the below steps to request a refund:


APPLE (IOS)

If you subscribed to SaveDay subscription using your Apple ID, refunds are handled by Apple, not SaveDay. If you want to request a refund, please visit here or follow the steps below:

  1. Locate your most recent receipt from Apple indicating the SaveDay subscription. Email subject should start with "Your receipt from Apple"

  2. Tap Report a Problem next to the purchase. Then, you will be redirected to Apple's problem reports page

  3. Enter your Apple ID and password when prompted

  4. Under "What can we help you with?", select the refund option and reason. Click Submit when finished with your request

Or

  1. Go to reportaproblem.apple.com

  2. Sign in with your Apple ID and password

  3. If you see the "Report" or "Report a Problem" button next to your subscription, click it

  4. Follow the instructions on the page to choose the reason why you want a refund and submit your request

GOOGLE PLAY (ANDROID)

If you subscribed to SaveDay subscription using your Google Play Store account, just follow these simple steps:

  1. On your computer, follow the instructions here

  2. Confirm Google Play account

  3. Find the order you want to return

  4. Select "Request a refund" or "Report a problem" and choose the option that describes your situation

  5. Complete the form and note that you'd like a refund

  6. You will see a message saying "Thank you for sharing your concerns". Later you will receive an email about your refund (it can take up to 4 business days)
