Employees can clock in and out for the day via the homepage, the mobile app and in the Time Management section of their profile.

Summary

By clicking on "Time management summary" at the top of the homepage, the employee can see all of their historical data and upcoming bookings. They can edit the entries, book time away, or use Quick Fix.

Quick Fix

Quick Fix allows the employee to mass update all of their empty entries on workdays, instantly populating all of the missing entries with the hours that they choose.

Submit

At the end of each month, an employee is required to submit their attendance. This will confirm for the finance team that the entries filled out by the employee are accurate.

Once submitted, the entries become locked and the employee cannot update it. Their direct manager will also receive an email notification that the employee has submitted their attendance.

Super Admins have the ability to choose whether or not they'd like the Manager/Super Admin to approve the monthly submission. If turned on, the Manager will receive a Slack notification or an email. They can then click "Review and approve in Shapes" to see and approve the submission.

To enable the approval flow, enter App Settings -> Time Tracking -> and switch on "Require approval for monthly submissions" in the relevant policies.
