Order Visibility Options

When placing an order, you have the option to choose between two types of orders: Open and Private.

The main difference between a private and an open order is the visibility of the order to writers on our platform.

Please note that these visibility settings only affect access during the selection phase; once a writer is hired, only that writer will have access to the order details.

Open Orders

An open order means that all experts on our platform can see the order and submit their proposals. This is a faster way to find an expert, as proposals are received automatically.

Additionally, the platform’s support team can invite writers and review proposals to recommend the best candidates for your needs.

Once a writer is selected and hired, only that writer will have access to the order details, ensuring privacy post-selection.

Private Orders

Private orders allow you to limit access to invited experts only. This means that only specific writers who have been invited to the order can see the order and place a proposal. This option is ideal when you have a specific writer in mind that you'd like to work with, or when the order involves sharing sensitive or personal information.

For first-time customers, the only option is to place an open order, as they don't have a preferred writer yet. Once you have completed at least one order with us, you will have access to the private order feature.

Switching Between Order Types

If you want to change the visibility of an order you’ve already placed, you can do so at any time before a writer is hired.

To change the order type, simply click on the three dots on the right side of the order page and choose the "Switch to private order" or "Switch to open order" button (the button label changes depending on your current order visibility).

Alternatively, you can change the order visibility by updating the Order details:

This action is reversible, so you can switch back and forth between order types as needed.

Feel free to choose the option that best fits your order task. If you have any questions, our support agents will be happy to assist you.
