📝 Checklists for Quizzes are a tool for manual approve of quiz results by an administrator. They allow you to define criteria by which the administrator can thoroughly evaluate learner responses and provide final feedback.
Checklists are displayed only for quizzes with manual approve enabled and are ideal for situations that require flexible and transparent assessment of knowledge.
How to create a checklist for future use
To create a checklist, you need to set up a quiz that can later be used as a checklist. You can create a separate course and add checklists for each quiz within it. For example, create a quiz named “Checklist for Review” for easy access in the future.
In the quiz that will later serve as a checklist, you can use the following question types:
Yes/No – the administrator can quickly evaluate the criterion by marking the appropriate response.
One choice – the administrator can evaluate the criterion by selecting the corresponding statement.
Multiple choice – the administrator can evaluate the criterion by selecting all relevant statements.
Written answer – the administrator can provide detailed feedback to assess the criterion.
📌 Checklists are particularly useful when the administrator needs to evaluate a detailed answer or an uploaded file.
Let's create Yes/No question. In the question field, enter the criterion that the administrator needs to assess:
After adding all questions, save your changes by clicking “Save”:

How to enable a checklist for a quiz 📚
Go to the quiz settings by clicking the three dots next to the quiz name:
Activate the “Add Checklist” toggle:
In the window that opens, select the academy and the checklist you created earlier. Click “Add Checklist”:
Click “Save”:
After saving, the quiz settings will display information about the connected checklist:

Reviewing a quiz with a checklist ✏️
Once a learner completes a quiz with manual approval enabled, the checklist will appear in the review tab. You can evaluate the work by marking responses according to the defined criteria:
The final learner score is calculated based on the checklist. You can view the overall impact of checklist evaluations at the end of the checklist:
You can also add checklist to final quiz feedback by clicking the corresponding button:
After approving the quiz, the results and feedback are sent to the learner:
