Formatting Lesson Content Using AI

In this article, you'll learn how to automatically improve the formatting of a lesson using artificial intelligence right in the editor.

Automatic formatting lets you significantly reduce the time spent preparing lessons and makes learning materials more structured and easier to perceive. To format a lesson, click on the text and select the Formatting with AO Assistant icon on the toolbar:

A separate window will open, split into two columns:

  • On the left – the original lesson content;

  • On the right – the place where the formatted version of the lesson will appear after processing.

Before starting the processing, on the right you'll see the AO Assistant panel with a list of formatting settings. Here you need to select which changes you want AI to apply to the text:

  • Arrange Headings;

  • Add Bold;

  • Add Italic;

  • Format Quotations;

  • Color Highlight;

  • Table of Contents.

Each of these options can be turned on and off individually, depending on the result you want to achieve. Once you've selected the settings you need, click the I want AI magic button to start the processing:

Once processing is complete, the finished result will appear in the right column:

To see exactly what's changed compared to the original, click the Show changes button – it will highlight all the edits made:

If you're happy with the result, click Use in Lesson and the formatted text will replace the lesson content:

If the suggested version doesn't meet your expectations, click Clear all to start the formatting settings over. If you'd rather leave the lesson unchanged, in its original form, click Back to close the formatting window:

📌 Please note that:

  • AI formatting only works with the lesson's text: headings, paragraphs, lists, quotations, and highlighting.

  • Custom text styling outside the supported options (underline, colors, fonts) may be simplified.
