Connect Your AI Assistant to Acenda
Ask questions about your orders, sales, products, marketplaces, and returns directly in your AI assistant.
Read-only access: Acenda MCP uses your existing permissions and cannot create, edit, or delete store data.
1. Get ready
You’ll need:
Acenda access: An account with permission to access your organization.
Your admin URL: The address you use to open your organization in Acenda.
A compatible AI assistant: An app that supports remote MCP connections. Your plan or workspace may require administrator approval.
2. Copy the setup prompt
Open your preferred AI assistant and paste the prompt below. It will ask the assistant to check current setup instructions and guide you one step at a time.

1. Check compatibility
Ask which AI app, plan, and device or browser I’m using.
Check the provider’s current official documentation for remote MCP support and setup requirements.
Identify any required settings or administrator approval.
If you cannot verify the instructions, ask what I see instead of guessing.
If my setup is unsupported, explain the limitation and supported options.
2. Build my connection URL
Ask for my Acenda admin URL or organization slug.
The slug is the first part of the path after admin.acenda.io.
Example: admin.acenda.io/acme_shoes → acme_shoes.
Replace YOUR_ORG in this server URL with my slug: https://api.acenda.io/v1/mcp/YOUR_ORG
3. Guide me through adding Acenda
Connection name: Acenda.
Authentication: OAuth through my normal Acenda sign-in.
No API keys or manually configured client IDs are required.
Access is read-only analytics for the organization in the URL, using my Acenda permissions.
If the interface differs from your instructions, ask what I see.
4. Help me sign in
Direct me to Acenda’s sign-in page.
Ask me to review the access request.
Never ask me to paste passwords, verification codes, or access tokens into chat.
5. Test the connection
Help me select or enable Acenda for the current conversation or task.
Query Acenda: “What were my sales by marketplace last month?”
Confirm success only after receiving a successful response from Acenda.
If the test fails, troubleshoot the actual error without inventing results.
3. Follow the guided setup
Your assistant will help you:
Confirm that your app supports the connection.
Build your organization’s connection URL.
Add Acenda to your AI app.
Sign in and review the access request.
Run a test query.
Managing multiple organizations? Each connection accesses one organization. Use the appropriate organization slug for each connection.
4. Start asking questions
Try these prompts:
Sales: “What were my sales by marketplace last month?”
Products: “What are my top 10 products by revenue this quarter?”
Returns: “How do returns compare across marketplaces this quarter?”
Trends: “How is average order value trending week over week?”
Include a date range and relevant product or marketplace details for more precise answers.
Troubleshooting
Can’t find the connection settings? Ask your assistant to check your app’s current requirements. Your plan or workspace settings may limit access.
Sign-in works, but the connection fails? Check your organization slug and confirm you can access that organization in Acenda.
Connected, but Acenda isn’t being used? Ask your assistant how to enable it for the current conversation or task.
Connection expired? Reconnect through your AI app’s connection settings and sign in again.
Still stuck? Contact your Acenda representative with your AI app, the step where you got stuck, and the error message. Do not include passwords or access tokens.
Access and permissions
Read-only: The connection cannot change store data.
Organization-specific: Each connection accesses the organization in its URL.
Your permissions: Queries use your existing Acenda account permissions.
Disconnect anytime: Remove the connection through your AI app’s settings.
Review your results: AI-generated answers may be inaccurate, incomplete, or outdated. Verify analytics before using them to make business decisions.
