What is Professional Skills Development Test and what does it measure?

Updated today

Professional Skills Development is a modular, story-based situational judgment test that is intended to support the development of students in higher education programs.

By asking you to reflect on and communicate responses to interpersonal and professional dilemmas, it assesses personal and professional skills like leadership, resilience, collaboration and critical thinking—skills that AI can’t replicate, but employers increasingly expect. It also provides resources and exercises for further improving these skills, which will be available when you receive your post-assessment report.

Only learners who need to take the Professional Skills Development will have access. If Professional Skills Development test is required as part of your program of study, your program will communicate it to you directly and provide information on their testing date(s).
