Can I change the language of my Canadian Casper test?

Updated yesterday
  1. Choose your language carefully when reserving your first Canadian Casper examen of the cycle (English or French). This is called your Bilingual Program Distribution Language.

  2. This choice is mandatory for all applicants taking a Canadian Casper test, even if you’re not applying to bilingual programs.

  3. Once selected:

    • You cannot change it for the rest of the admissions cycle.

    • Scores from bilingual programs will only be sent in your chosen language.

    • Programs that accept only one language are unaffected.

  4. Greyed-out programs:

    • If a program is greyed out, it means your selected language does not match that program.

    • You must either:

      1. Reserve a Casper test in the correct language and test type, or

      2. Add the program to a distribution list of a test already reserved in that language and test type this cycle.

  5. Exception — University of Ottawa Medicine:

    • Accepts English or French individually, not both.

    • Must match the language chosen on your Ottawa application.

    • Can be added to your French or English distribution list regardless of your Bilingual Program Distribution Language.

Tip: Review all bilingual program requirements and your Dates and Fees page carefully. Your language choice affects score delivery and your full application.
