I don’t have my University of Toronto Pharmacy ID yet, what should I do?

Reserving a Casper test without your University of Toronto PharmD applicant ID number

Updated today

To reserve your Acuity Insights Assessments (like Casper) or to send scores to specific programs, you generally need to enter all required student or application ID numbers. These are typically provided by:

  • The program you’re applying to, or

  • The application portal (after completing the necessary application steps)

Exception: University of Toronto – Pharmacy applicants

We understand that PharmD applicants to the University of Toronto may want to take their Casper test before receiving their official applicant ID number.

If you don’t yet have this ID, you can still book your test using a temporary ID number.

How to enter a temporary ID number

When asked for your 10-digit UofT Applicant ID number, enter: 1000000000 (temporary placeholder)

Important: update your ID when you receive it

Once you receive your official applicant ID number, you must update it in your Acuity Insights account. If you don’t, your results may not be sent correctly. This will be 10 digits starting with the number 1.

How to update your ID number

  1. Sign in to your Acuity Insights account

  2. Click on your name in the top right corner

  3. Go to Account → IDs tab

  4. Look for the blue pencil icon next to the ID

    • Click it to edit

Note: If there’s no pencil icon next to the ID, contact us via:

Include:

  • The exact name of the ID you wish to update

  • The correct number

What happens after you update your ID

Once your ID number is updated, programs on your distribution list will automatically receive the new information within 24 hours.

No further action is required on your end.
