Where Should I Take My Casper Test?

Where you can take the Casper test

Updated this week

You do not need to go to a testing centre to take the Casper test.

Casper is an online test that you take on your computer, in a location of your choice.

To perform your best, we recommend choosing a quiet, private space where you can focus without distractions. You are allowed to wear headphones to help reduce noise and stay concentrated.

To take the test, you will need:

  • A computer (not a phone or tablet)

  • A working webcam

  • A reliable internet connection that passes the System Requirements Check in your Acuity Insights account

⚠️ Important: You must take the test alone.

To help you prepare:

  • Visit the Test Prep page in your Acuity Insights account

  • Try the Practice test, also available in your account

Reserving Your Test

We strongly recommend that you reserve your test at least three days before your preferred test date. This allows time for your ID to be verified and your payment to be processed. Some applicants reserve weeks or months ahead.

Visit the Dates and Fees page to find available test dates and deadlines for your chosen programs.

Note: Last-minute reservations are not guaranteed and are not recommended.

Quick FAQ - Where to Take Casper Test?

Q: Can I take the Casper test in a public place like a library or café?

While technically possible, we strongly advise against it. Casper should be taken in a private, quiet environment to ensure the best possible experience and to meet testing requirements.
