Information on IDs

These ID numbers are provided by programs or application portals when you have completed the necessary application steps.

University of Montreal and McGill University:

These programs have no identification requirements. However, please ensure that you are using the same email address for your Acuity Insights account as you used when you applied to programs at these institutions.

University of Sherbrooke:

You will need to provide your 8-digit student number and/or your 8-character file number.

If you have already added a Sherbrooke ID in a previous admissions cycle, you will need to update your ID in your account before making your new reservation.

Laval University:

You will need to provide your 9-digit ID number (starting with a 1, 5, or 9).

If you are having difficulty locating any required IDs, please contact the individual program(s), and they can provide further assistance.

How to edit the IDs for Laval and Sherbrooke?

For IDs that change every year like the “Numéro de demande d’admission Université de Sherbrooke”, you must first edit them in your account before reserving your Casper test if they were entered during a previous reservation.

To do so, please follow these instructions:

  1. Log into your Acuity Insights account,

  2. Click on your name at the top right then select “Account”.

  3. Click on “IDs”

  4. Click on the “Edit” button with the pencil icon next to the appropriate ID.

  5. Enter your new ID, confirm it, then save it by clicking on ✓.

You will then be able to reserve your test without any issues.
