Empower your audience with seamless navigation and exploration using the Click2Maps Module. This innovative tool bridges the gap between your ad content and real-world destinations, offering convenient clickouts to Google Maps. Users can effortlessly access location-based information sourced from the Destination Module, providing direct links to specific destinations or vendors on Google Maps. Alternatively, users can initiate a simple keyword search on Google Maps, enabling them to discover nearby points of interest based on their preferences.

Use cases

  • Quickly redirect a user to a google maps keyword search or specific shop close to them in combination with the Destination module

Example

This example shows how the destination module can be used to show data from a .csv file dynamically, based on the user location. In this case, inside a pano and with the Click2Maps module used to deliver a dynamic clickout that leads to your nearest vendor (based on the csv data).

As with all examples, you can request us to copy them over to your company so you can look at how they are built in detail.

Keyword based search

The most basic use of the module that works in every scope, is the keyword based search. Clicking the C2M module with this setting will open a google maps search with the given keyword.

CSV based search

This setting will only be available from inside a destination module's scope. Given some data from the overlying csv, you can have clickouts based on the csv data that is shown to the user locally.

Properties & Clickout

As for the Background module, the Click2Maps module allows you to change different properties like the opacity seperately in the "Properties" tab.

Also, you can set up a clickout link for the Click2Maps module as usual.

Interactions

The Click2Maps offers all standard triggers & actions that the Background module offers as well. Furthermore, the Click2Maps module offers:

  • Clicks = Triggers when a user clicks the C2M module area / Gets redirected

Actions for other modules

The Click2Maps module offers no specific actions to be triggered through other modules.
