Transform your ad into a personalized guide with the Destination Module, a powerful tool that seamlessly displays location-based information from a list of vendors or locations in CSV format. By leveraging user location data, this module dynamically presents relevant links, pricing information, and text tailored to the user's surroundings.

Use cases

  • Display information based on the user's location

  • Show vendor specific data, tailored to the user's location

Example

This example shows how the destination module can be used to show data from a .csv file dynamically, based on the user location. In this case, inside a pano and with the Click2Maps module used to deliver a dynamic clickout that leads to your nearest vendor (based on the csv data).

As with all examples, you can request us to copy them over to your company so you can look at how they are built in detail.

Source file & Preview

You can upload the .csv on top of the settings.

The toggle below lets you preview the data from the .csv file inside the workspace. The dropdown below lets you select which data row from the file will be used for previewing.

Location mechanism

You can select from various location mechanisms that the destination module uses:

  • Native = Locate user via several different fields like street, number, zip, city, lat/long

  • Dealer ID = Locate user via dealer id given by match list on DSP side

  • Lat/Long = Locate user by closeness to lat/lon coordinates inside .csv file

  • Zip code = Locate user by how close the zip code is to target

Each location mechanism will let you link fields from the .csv files in the "Location details" tab below.

The location mechanism will cause the user to get a modal asking for his permission for location services when the ad is loaded!

Using the .csv data

After loading the .csv file, every column will appear as a typo under the destination module's scope. You can select them, set them visible by clicking the eye icon and then move/style them like any typo. As long as you keep the %%variable%% tag, you can put other text around it, for example, the above could also be "Starting at %%Preis%% Euro" and it'd fill in the variable in the live ad.

Clickouts & Interactions

The Destination module offers no further destination specifics interactions/triggers.
