This article will talk you through how to set up your automated forms within ANS. You are able to automate all of your forms within the software including medical questionnaires, consent forms and aftercare forms.
By automating your forms, it means you are taking away the in clinic task of completing the forms in clinic with your patients. This can help speed up your treatment times and also review your patients answers before they arrive in clinic.

Assigning Your Forms
The first thing you need to do to automate your forms within ANS is link the forms you wish to be sent to your patients to your treatments.
Step 1 :
From the main menu, head to settings.
Step 2 :
From the settings page, head to the treatment settings area.
Step 3 :
You will then need to either select to make a completely new treatment or click into a treatment type and then the pencil icon to open the specific treatment settings.
Step 4 :
You will then need to head to the bottom of the treatment settings to find the form section. In this area you will need to select the medical questionnaire, consent and aftercare you wish to be sent.
Step 5 :
Once happy with the form selection, hit update.
Setting Up The Automation
Once you have linked your forms to your treatments. You can then turn on your form automation settings.
Step 6:
Head back into settings via the side bar.
Step 7 :
Then head into the form automation settings, under the heading compliance.
Step 8 :
From here, you will be able to first set how you would like medical questionnaire and consent form to be sent either when the booking is made or scheduled for a few days before the appointment.
Then, you can also be able to set your aftercare automations to either prior to appointment or scheduled after the appointment.
Reminder : If you are setting your aftercare forms to scheduled, you must click the arrived button on the appointment to trigger the forms to be sent.
Step 9 :
Once happy with your settings, hit save.
Step 10 :
This will then set up your form automation, all you will need to do is make sure when an appointment is booked in that the correct treatment is linked. Once booked your forms will be sent to your patients at the times set in the settings area.
