How To Set Up Treatment Specific Deposits

Learn how to set up which treatments require an online deposit within your ANS

This article will talk you through how to set up for specific treatments to request a deposit when they are booked online.

You may want to request a deposit for higher priced treatments to prevent patients from not showing for their appointments but allow lower priced treatments to be booked automatically.

To set up treatment specific deposits in ANS, follow our simple steps.


Selecting Treatments

First you will need to select which treatments you would like to require a deposit to be booked in online.

Step 1 :

From the main menu, head to settings.

Step 2 :

Once in settings, head to treatments under the heading products.

Step 3 :

You will then need to head into the specific treatment type.

Step 4 :

Then on the specific treatment you will need to click the pencil icon.

Step 5 :

Scroll down then to the bottom section of the edit treatment setting to the box which states depsoit required. If you would like to take a deposit make sure this box is ticked, if you would not like to request a deposit then leave this box unticked then select update.

You will need to do this process for every treatment stored within your software.


Connecting Your Stripe Account

Next, you will need to conect your Stripe account to b e able to take deposits for these treatments. Stripe are the provider we take all of our payments through.

Step 1 :

From the main menu, head to the settings area.

Step 2 :

Once in settings, head to tak payments under the heading online booking.

Step 3 :

Then to create your Stripe account, click the connect to Strpe option. You will then be guided to Stripe where you will just need to fill in some business details to create the account.

Step 4 :

Once connected successfully you will see a statment at the top to confirm the connection between ANS and Stripe.

Once successfully set up, you will be able to start taking payments through all various methods.


Setting Up Deposit Amount

Finally, you will need to set up the amount you would like to be paid for the deposit of this treatment. This can either be a percentage of the treatment or a fixed amount.

Step 1 :

From the main menu, head to settings.

Step 2 :

Once in settings, head to desposit under the heading online booking.

Step 3 :

Then in the deposit section you will need to select to accept deposits.

Step 4 :

After, you will be able to state the amount of deposit you would like to take or the percentage size and if you would like to have this amount per treatment or per appointment.

Step 5 :

Once happy with your deposit amount, hit save details.

Step 6 :

This will then request a deposit from your patients when they book in online.
