Learn how to add a new treatment within your ANS account.

Updated over 6 months ago

This article will talk you through how to add a new treatment within Aesthetic Nurse Software.

There will be a number of treatment options in your quick set up area of the software when first starting your account. However, this guide will talk you through how to add a treatment within your settings area.

To learn how to add a new treatment to your software, watch our short video below. Alternatively, follow our simple steps below.

Step 1 :

From the main menu, select settings.

Step 2 :

Once in settings, head to treatments under the heading products.

Step 3 :

You may then find that a number of treatments are already stored within your software. However, to add a new treatment, select the 'New Treatment' button.

Step 4 :

From here you can start to build your new treatment. First, select the treatment type your treatment falls under. If the treatment type is already within the software it will appear in the drop down list.

Otherwise to create a new treatment type, you are able to free type above the drop down and hit enter to create your new treatment type.

You must hit the ENTER key on your device to save the new treatment category.

Step 5 :

Once your treatment type has been selected, you will then be able to add the treatment name and description.

The treatment description is an optional area which if added will pull through to the online booking page to inform patients of the treatment.

Step 6 :

You can then state the price the treatment will cost. You can either set the price as fixed or if the price is dependant on a different factor you can state the price is from.

If you have multiple practitoner within your clinic, you may need to select the 'different prices for practitioner' option so you can detail each practitioners price for the treatment.

Step 7 :

Your treatment interval is next. This is how often a patient should be recieving their treatment. This could be 4 months for Botulinum Toxin and 6 months for Dermal Filler.

If a treatment interval is not valid for this treatment, a N/A option can be selected.

Your treatment interval is used to send a rebook reminder message to your patients to remind them to book back in for their next treatment.

Want to know more about setting up your rebooking reminders? Search for our rebook reminder guide to help get this function up and running.

Step 8 :

After your interval, you can then set how long the treatment takes to be completed on the day.

Step 9 :

Once you have set your interval up, this is the main area of your treatment set up you then have 3 optional boxes.

You can then set if you would like a rebook reminder to be sent to your patients for this treatment, if you would like a deposit to be taken when an online booking is made and also if you would like the appointment to approve automatically when booked online.

Step 10 :

Your next option is to choose a colour you would like the treatment to appear in when an appointmet is booked. This creates a visal element in the diary as you can have all your botulinum toxin set as red and all your dermal filler blue.

Step 11 :

Finally, you have the option to attach the forms you would like to be sent to your patients when this treatment is booked into the diary. You can either select the form manually or search for the form in the box available.

If there are forms not present in your list, you may need to activate these from our default list in settings. Head to our guide on how to activate your forms.

If you are also interested in learning more about setting your automated froms, head to our guide on how to set up your automated forms.

Step 12 :

Once happy with all of your treatment information, hit save details. You will then find your new treatment within the treatment settings.

If you would then like this treatment to appear on your online booking page, you just need to make sure the treatment is attached to your practitioner setting.
