How to Use Noesis

  1. Open Environet on your desktop or mobile device

  2. Click Noesis in the sidebar navigation

  3. Type a question, command, or request

  4. Review AI-generated answers, insights, or recommended actions

Example Prompts

"What was the air quality today for office devices?"

"Detect any smoke during the last 6 hours for devices from the 5th floor."

Tip: Use clear, specific phrases for best results.

New Chat and Previous Conversations

To begin a new conversation, click the + New Chat button. Noesis will open a fresh window where you can start a new query.

To revisit earlier interactions, click the Chats button. This opens a sidebar showing your previous conversations, allowing you to resume where you left off. This feature is especially helpful for referencing earlier analyses or summaries generated by Noesis.

Analyze Reports with Noesis

Noesis can also be used directly within the Reports section to provide AI-assisted analysis of your air quality reports.

To access Noesis from within a report:

  1. Navigate to the report you would like to analyze.

  2. Click the Noesis button in the top-right corner of the screen, located next to the Actions button.

After clicking the button, a sidebar will appear on the right side of your screen. This is the Noesis panel for Reports. The first time you access it, click Start Conversation to begin.

You can interact with this version of Noesis just as you would elsewhere in Environet, with the added benefit of referencing the report you have open. This enables deeper analysis and helps you gain a more thorough understanding of the data and insights contained in your report.

Example Prompts

Creating Alerts with Noesis

Prompt:"Create an alert to detect smoke for our office devices."

Noesis interprets your instruction as a request to configure a new alert in your monitoring environment. It identifies the target devices, selects the relevant signal or classification model for smoke detection, applies default or learned thresholds, and drafts the alert configuration. The only remaining step is for you to set up email/SMS notifications.

In practice, the prompt removes manual setup. You describe the outcome you need, and Noesis builds an alert that fits directly into your workflows.

Downtime Alert Analysis

Prompt: "What were downtimes for Site 1-4 devices during the last 24 hours."

Noesis retrieves operational data for the selected devices and runs a structured downtime analysis. It detects total downtime, uptime percentage, and can even provide a summary, insights, and recommendations. It then summarizes those events, including start and end times, total durations, and any detected patterns.

This eliminates the need for manual log review, giving you a clear view of device uptime and downtime.

Diagram Creation & Analysis

Prompt: "Create a scatter plot showing CO2 vs temperature in our office during the past 48 hours, and provide this as a downloadable PDF file."

Noesis analyzes 48 hours of continuous air quality data, produces a scatter plot comparing carbon dioxide and temperature, and delivers it as a downloadable PDF for use in compliance, reporting, or presentations.

You no longer need to manually produce charts, Noesis can organize the data and create the diagram for you.
