Product Recommendation Widget
Each product recommendation widget can display up to 8 offers at a time. You have the flexibility to add as many product recommendation widgets as needed on your thank you page.
Unlike the one-click upsell feature, product recommendations on the thank you page are fully compatible with all payment gateways and multi-currency stores. However, there are some additional factors to consider:
Customers will need to re-enter their payment details to complete the purchase of the offer. However, AfterSell will automatically apply their saved shipping information for a seamless checkout experience.
When a customer selects an offer, a new order will be created in Shopify, rather than modifying the existing order.
We now offer a beta feature that allows product recommendation orders to be merged with the original order. If you're interested in enabling this feature, please reach out to our Support team, and they will be happy to enable it for you.
Storewide Popup Discount
Storewide popups are an effective way to increase Average Order Value (AOV) by offering customers immediate rewards for additional purchases. Similar to the product recommendation widget, these offers are fully compatible with all payment gateways and multi-currency stores.
However, please note that any orders placed through storewide popup discounts will create a new order. These orders cannot be merged with the original one, as customers are redirected to your storefront and must complete the checkout process again. As a result, your Shopify shipping settings will apply to all storewide popup orders.
