When your shoppers upload a photo to try something on, trust matters to them and to you. Here's a clear explanation of how AI Frame handles shopper photos so you can answer your customers' questions with confidence.

The photo a shopper uploads

When a shopper tries something on, they upload a photo of themselves. This photo is used only to generate their try-on image. It's held only for as long as needed to create the try-on, and is then deleted, it isn't kept on file afterwards.

The try-on image they get back

The generated try-on image is stored securely. If a shopper taps Favorite, a link to their image is saved in their own browser so they can find it again later. The image isn't linked to the shopper's identity.

Is any of it used to train AI?

No. AI Frame does not use shoppers' photos or generated images to train AI models.

How the try-on is created

AI Frame uses Google's AI to generate try-on images. The app simply places the product onto the uploaded photo; nothing more is done with it.

Protecting minors

AI Frame follows Google's child-protection policies. Photos of children won't be processed by the try-on.

What this means for you as a merchant

In short: shopper photos are used only to create the try-on and then removed, generated images aren't tied to anyone's identity and nothing is used to train AI. You can reassure your customers that their photos are handled carefully and only for the purpose of trying on your products.
