A Guide to AI Frame's App Settings

Virtual Try-On, Size Chart, Estimate my size from height and weight, garment fit and stretch, Integrations, and Account.

Written by Ben Nyberg

AI Frame is designed to work out of the box. Two pages cover almost everything: Virtual Try-On for the try-on experience, and Size Chart for sizing. Here's a tour of what you'll find today.

Where to find your settings

In your Shopify admin, go to Apps → AI Frame – Virtual Try-On. In the app's left menu you'll find Virtual Try-On, Size Chart, Plan, Analytics, Translations, Integrations (Growth and Advanced) and Account.

The Virtual Try-On page

At the top right you'll see how many try-ons you've used this month (green at low use, orange from 80% — never red). Below that, how shoppers use the try-on, step by step, with a Configure link under each step.

  • Embed status: whether the widget is active on your storefront, plus View setup guide and Trust & data.

  • Try-on pill on product image: the label and position of the pill on the first product photo (default: Try On, bottom centre). Returning shoppers with a saved photo see an inline render. Learn more opens this help article: How to Choose Which Products Show the Try-On Button. To change the wording, see How to Change the Try-On Button Text.

  • Exclude product types: hide the Try On pill on the product types and categories that exist on this shop. Size Chart and Sizing assist still show on assigned products.

  • Widget customization: logo, hero image or video, brand colour, and Light / Dark theme — with a live preview.

  • Hero image by category: override the hero for specific product categories.

  • Try-on reference photo: try-on uses the first product image unless you pick a better front-facing, garment-only photo.

  • Share reward: a discount code after a shopper shares their try-on. See How to Set Up the Share-for-Discount Reward.

  • Extra try-ons: whether try-ons continue when your monthly limit is reached. See What Happens When I Reach My Monthly Try-On Limit?.

The Size Chart page

Create size charts, assign them to products, and style how they appear. At the top right you'll see X of Y size charts in use (same pattern as try-ons: green, then orange from 80%, never red). Advanced has unlimited charts, so that meter is hidden.

  • Size Charts: reusable charts. Add new chart from scratch, from a CSV or Excel file, or from a template. At the plan cap, Add new chart is disabled and you are pointed to upgrade. Limits: Free 1 / Starter 10 / Growth 20 / Advanced unlimited. See How to Set Up a Size Chart for Your Products.

  • Style Your Size Chart: header and row colours, plus the icon on the Size Chart tab, the size recommendation card, and Estimate my size. Colours and icon apply inside the Size Chart tab, not the product-page link.

  • Size Recommender: toggle Size recommendations are enabled. Size recommendations only appear on products with a size chart assigned. Shoppers tap Estimate my size (height, weight and gender for clothing; age optional) — no tape measure, never from the try-on photo. After an estimate they see Your size on the product page. Garment-measurement charts with bust, waist or hip also recommend once you set How is this garment meant to fit? and How stretchy is the fabric?. A Height Range column, when present, decides the size from height on its own.
