Try-On Not Generating? What to Check

If the Try-on button appears but try-ons aren't generating, run through these checks, the cause is usually one of four things.

1. Have you used this month's try-ons?

Every plan includes a monthly number of try-ons (Free 10, Starter 100, Growth 500, Advanced 1,250).

On paid plans, extra try-ons are ON by default, when your allowance runs out, try-ons keep working at your plan's rate ($0.16/$0.14/$0.12 each).
If you've turned extra try-ons off (under Plan), try-ons pause at your limit and that's why nothing is generating. Your size chart stays live either way.

On the Free plan, 10 is a hard cap: at your limit, try-ons pause automatically until your next monthly reset or upgrade for a bigger allowance.

Check your usage any time in the app under Plan.

2. Is your plan active?

If your paid plan's trial ended without converting, or your plan was cancelled, the widget stops generating. Check Plan in the app's left menu, reactivating brings it straight back.

3. Is it one specific photo or product?

If generation works elsewhere but fails for one case:

  • Shopper photo: it should be full-body, well-lit, and just them. A group shot, a cropped photo or a very dark image can fail to generate.

  • Product photo: a heavily styled or unclear product image gives the AI too little to work with. See Product Photo Tips for the Best Try-On Results.

4. Try once more

Because try-on uses generative AI, an occasional attempt can fail and simply succeed on retry. One more click fixes more cases than you'd expect.
