A size chart answers "which size am I?" - a size recommendation answers it for them. When a shopper has saved a Fit Profile, AI Frame highlights their recommended size directly on your body-measurement size charts. Here's how it works.
What shoppers experience
Under My Fit in the try-on widget, shoppers can enter their measurements - bust/chest, waist and hips, plus optional shoulder and inseam - in cm or inches, and save them together with their photo as their Fit Profile. From then on, whenever they open a size chart built on body measurements, their size is calculated instantly: the matching row is highlighted in the chart, with a clear "Your size" badge underneath. No mental maths with a measuring tape, no second-guessing.
Saving is always the shopper's choice: their Fit Profile is stored securely in the EU, never shared with your store or used to train AI, and they can delete it at any time under My Fit.
How to turn it on
In your Shopify admin, go to Apps → AI Frame – Virtual Try-On, then open Size Chart in the app's left menu.
Scroll to Size Recommender.
Switch on Size recommendations and you're done — you'll see a live preview of what shoppers get, right in the setting.
What it needs to work
The product's size chart must be built on body measurements (the "body" templates - Tops (body), Bottoms (body), and so on). Product-measurement charts don't support recommendations, because they describe the garment, not the shopper.
The shopper must have a saved Fit Profile.
What it costs
Size recommendations don't use any try-on credits.
Why it matters
Wrong-size orders are the single biggest driver of fashion returns. A recommendation at the exact moment of decision means more confident purchases and fewer parcels coming back.
