The schedule is where you can do everything scheduling and shift related like creating shifts and patterns, assigning shifts, sending schedules, notifying people about available shifts, and more.

This article gives you an overview of the schedule — where is what and how to find and use particular features and functions.

Filter

On the left-hand side, find the option to filter the shifts. You can filter by clients, sites, and positions. For example, if you filter shifts by the client, the view will only show the shifts by the particular client.

If “Only Staff Has Shifts” is checked, the schedule will only show shifts assigned to staff. To apply filters, click on “Apply”. You can remove all filters by clicking on “Reset”. To refresh the schedule calendar, click on Refresh, and to print the schedule calendar, click on Print.

Searching and Sorting

You can search or sort on the staff list. You can filter and find person by name, age, position, departments, regions, certifications, and whether the employee is male or female. For example, if you filter by positions, only employees having that position will show on the list.

After adding filters, click on search. Click on “Reset” to remove the filters. You can also sort the list by first name, middle name, last name, age, and gender.

Time filter

The time filter allows you to filter the calendar view depending on the day, week, 2 weeks, and month. If you click on today, it will show results for the current day only. You can also select dates using the date range options.

By clicking on the date, you can directly navigate to the preferred day, week, or month by choosing your desired date from a calendar that appears. The date range depends on whether you have selected the time range for day, week, or month.

The Schedule calendar will show you results depending on the options selected.

Publish and send

Under the “publish and send” button, you can publish the schedule, send the Rota to all staff, or send the Rota to all clients. To send “Rota” to individual staff, click on the down arrow beside the employee’s name, and from the drop-down, click on Send Rota.
