Unpublished shifts are not visible to staff. For staff to view and apply on a shift, it must be published. Through the Publish & Send button, you can publish shifts, send Rota to all clients, and send Rota to staff.

The publish and send button shows you the number of unpublished shifts. The number depends on the time range you have selected. To Publish:

1. Click on “Publish & Send” and select publish. A dialogue box will appear.

2. Select whether you want to publish all shifts, open shifts, or assigned shifts only. Click “Next”.

3. Select sites. You can include staff from all sites, or you can select specific sites.

4. In the third step, select the criteria. Only staff matching these criteria will get the notification. Click on next.

5. Now select the notification types email, push notifications, or SMS. Click on finish to complete the process. Staff will get the notification.

Send Rota to all staff will send the shift schedule, visible on the calendar, to all staff as a notification.

Send Rota to client will send the shift schedule, visible on the calendar, to all clients as a notification.

If you want to publish a specific shift, then hover over a shift, tick the check mark, and then click publish.

If you want to publish the shift of a specific staff, click on the down arrow in front of the staff name and select publish. This will publish all the shifts shown on the calendar in the person's row. To see more shifts, adjust the date range.
