Take attendance in seconds with the Akada Studio App. Download the app and mark attendance right from your phone or tablet — no more paperwork, no hassle, all from the classroom.

Who can use the app?

Admin, your office manager, and your teachers—using the Roles and Permissions settings —you're in complete control over who has access and what they're allowed to see and do.

How do I set it up for my users?

  1. Log in to the studio app using your Akada email and password (must be an admin).

  2. Click the menu button and then select Roles and Permissions.

  3. Under General User, click the Manage Role button.

  4. Click to expand the Attendance section and click the Attendance Access slider to on.

  5. Now, check all boxes that you want the selected role to have access to.

  6. Click the X in the top right corner when finished.

How do I enter attendance?

  1. From the attendance screen, click on the Calendar Icon to set the date.

  2. Click on the title of the correct class.

  3. Set the status for the students.

    1. This can be done individually, or you may choose the Select All option.

    2. Click the + button for additional attendance status options.

  4. Click the X button in the top right corner when you're finished.

What else can it do?

  1. On the attendance screen, clicking on a student's name displays more detailed information on that student, including a graph of their attendance history and an option to read or add notes.

  2. Using the attendance settings, you can create alerts for when a student has missed too many classes within a chosen time period.

  3. Attendance settings are found in the top right corner of the attendance screen. Using these, you can set up absent alerts, note alerts, and manage your class list.
