The discounts setup page in Akada allows you to create custom discounts for specific charge types as a dollar amount or as a percentage. These discounts can be applied to an individual student or an entire account.
To Add a Discount:
Select the main menu.
Select Admin.
Select Settings.
Select Discounts.
Click the Add New Discount button, and the Add Discount pop-up will appear.
Enter a description for your discount.
Choose the type of charge the discount should apply to.
Choose to set the discount as a dollar amount or percentage.
Enter the amount or percent of the discount.
Check the box to allow for the discount amount to be changed when assigning.
Click the Add Discount button to close the pop-up and save the newly created discount.
Discount Reports - Here, you can run a report of all the discounts the studio offers and the accounts or students with discounts assigned to them.
