I am almost at my max. How can I easily reduce the number of students I have?

Great News! You no longer need to reduce your student count to manage your subscription fee.

As of January 2025, Akada adopted a new pricing model: a flat monthly fee of $60.00.

Your monthly bill is no longer tied to your total number of students (active, inactive, or pending) in the database.

What This Means for You:

  1. No Student Maximum: You have no maximum student limit, so you never need to worry about deleting students due to cost concerns.

  2. Focus on Organization: The primary reason for permanently deleting inactive students is to maintain the general organization and cleanliness of the database.

Your account size will not impact your monthly subscription fee!

To Clear Inactive Students:

  • Click the 3 lines in the upper left corner of Akada Online.

  • Select the arrow beside Admin.

  • Select Clear School Data.

  • Under the Delete Students section, check the box "Permanently delete students deactivated prior to the inactive date shown".

  • Enter the date that you want to use.

  • The number of accounts and students to be removed will be updated based on the dates you've entered.

  • Click the Clear Selected button at the bottom of the screen.

  • Enter your Akada Online login password to verify the request.
