Integrating QuickBooks Online with AK DASH streamlines accounting by syncing relevant financial data between both platforms. It reduces manual data entry, minimizes errors, and helps keep business and accounting records accurate and up to date.

1. Connect QBO to AK DASH

  • Click the App icon on the AK DASH dashboard

  • Enter QuickBooks Online credentials to establish the connection.

  • Click "Connect to QuickBooks".

2. Set up taxes in QuickBooks Online (QBO)

  • Configure tax settings within the QBO account first.

3. Import taxes into AK DASH

  • Navigate to Business Management > Tax Groups > Import from QBO.

  • This will automatically copy your QBO tax setup into AK DASH.

4. Assign a tax group to a property.

  • Go to the Contacts panel and select Properties

  • Select the correct Tax Group when adding an Account Property after importing taxes.

5. Create and send a proposal to QuickBooks.

  • Prepare a proposal in AK DASH and mark it as ready for invoicing.

  • Select "Send to QBO" to push the proposal over.

6. Choose or create an account in QBO.

  • Assign the proposal to an existing QBO account via the pop-up.

  • Select "Create New Account from Proposal" to send it directly to QBO if the customer is new. An account will be automatically created in your QuickBooks Online (QBO).

7. Review the proposal in QBO.

  • Review the customer's account in QBO.

  • Review the proposal price breakdown for invoicing.

  • Review and edit, if needed, the billing address in QBO.
