Yes — you can participate in a study without a wearable device if the study doesn’t require one. Many studies on Alethios are survey-only or involve other types of digital activities that don’t rely on wearable data.
If a study on Alethios does require a wearable, that will be clearly outlined during onboarding. In some cases, the study may even provide a device to eligible participants.
If you indicate that you already own a compatible wearable, you may be asked to confirm with a photo or connecting the wearable during Study Onboarding to ensure compatibility and proper setup
