There may be times when you don’t want your campaigns to appear on certain pages, such as product or landing pages. You can do this easily by creating a "Hide Pages" targeting rule and applying it to your campaigns. In this guide, we'll show you how to do it step by step.
Step 1: Access the Targeting Rules Panel
Navigate to the Campaigns section in the Alia Dashboard.
Click on Targeting Rules from the Top menu.
Step 2: Create the “Hide Pages” Targeting Rule
Click “Add Rule” and name it something like
Hide Pages
.This is where you'll define which pages to exclude from your campaigns.
Step 3: Configure Page Exclusions
Now under the new targeting rule named Hide pages, add the below conditions:
Select "Is not on page(s)"
Choose "By path only"
Select "Contains" and enter the page path you want to exclude. For example:
/products/123
Click Add to include the page path.
Add as many paths as needed (e.g.
/thank_you
,/checkout
,/account
).
📌 This rule will now match users who are not on any of those pages—perfect for hiding popups there.
Step 4: Apply the Rule to Your Popup Campaign
Select "Edit targeting" on the campaign you want to hide on certain pages
Select Add condition > In targeting rule or campaign > Select the Hide pages rule you just created.
Click Save
💡 Whenever you want to exclude more pages, just edit the Hide pages rule and add the new path. You won’t have to touch each individual campaign—it updates automatically.
