Integrating Alia with Klaviyo takes only a few minutes and allows you to sync customer data, automate emails, and enhance marketing efforts. This guide walks you through the step-by-step process of connecting Alia to Klaviyo.

Step 1: Initiate authentication flow

First, open the Alia dashboard, navigate to the Integrations page, and click "Connect" under Klaviyo.

Klaviyo will open. Be sure that you're signed into the correct account, and click "Allow".

Next, choose lists to send Alia subscribers to. If you'd like, you can set a different list for email and SMS subscribers.

If you don't set an SMS list, Alia won't sync phone numbers, and vice versa for email.

Click "Save", and that's it! Alia sign ups and events will now start flowing into Klaviyo.

Step 2: Enable single opt-in (recommended)

We strongly recommend enabling single opt-in for your email list so that customers are opted in immediately, rather than needing to accept a confirmation email.

Here’s how:

  • Open your Klaviyo dashboard.

  • Navigate to Lists & Segments.

  • Select the list connected to Alia.

  • Click on Settings, then go to Consent.

  • Ensure the list is set to Single Opt-In. If it's set to double opt-in, update the setting.

💡 When searching for a list in Alia, only ten options will appear. If your list isn’t visible, type its name exactly as it appears in Klaviyo.

What’s Next?

Now that your integration is complete, you can start using Alia’s Klaviyo connection to segment users, automate email flows, and enhance customer engagement.
