Two rules explain almost every "but I finished it" report. Neither is obvious from the app. 🎓
1️⃣ Half-finished modules count as zero
Course progress counts fully completed modules only. A module you are 80% of the way through contributes nothing to your percentage.
That is why a course can read 76% when you feel you have done nearly all of it. One module left part-finished holds the whole thing back.
✅ What to do:
Open the course and look for the module that is not ticked. Go back into it and reach the end.
2️⃣ The quiz pass mark is often 100%
Unless your employer sets it lower, the passing threshold for a quiz is 100%. One wrong answer means you have not passed, and the course stays open.
✅ What to do:
Retake the quiz. If you keep just missing it, ask your manager what the pass mark is set to for that course.
3️⃣ The course is waiting for a sign-off
Some courses include a checkpoint that someone else has to approve before the course closes. Approval routes to whoever your employer set as the approver, which is not always your direct manager.
✅ What to do:
If everything is ticked and the course still will not close, ask your manager who signs off that checkpoint.
