What are the file size limits for uploads?

The maximum file sizes and accepted file types for uploads across feed posts, the handbook, videos, images and profile pictures.

Every upload in All Gravy has a maximum file size and a set of accepted file types. If an upload fails, it is almost always one of the two.

Generating an article from a PDF with AI

10 MB

PDF only

Two things worth knowing

Attachments must be PDFs. Word documents, spreadsheets and slide decks are not accepted. Export or print them to PDF first.

Generating an article from a PDF has a smaller limit than attaching one. You can attach a PDF of up to 100 MB, but the AI can only read one of up to 10 MB. If a large PDF is rejected by the AI, attach it to the article instead.

If your file is too large

For a PDF, compress it or split it into parts. For a video, export it at a lower resolution, or host it elsewhere and share the link in the post instead. If you share a link, check that the sharing settings let your team open it.
