AI Assistant: What you can ask the AI assistant - by area, for managers

For Managers — day-to-day use cases for line and location managers

Learning: Tracking Your Team's Training

You can check visibility on how your team is doing: who's behind, who's eligible for a session, and check completion by tagged courses.

  • “Who hasn't finished Bartender 101 in London? Remind them”

  • “Completion by role for anything tagged Compliance”

  • “How are we doing on completion for anything tagged Risk Assessments?”

  • “Mark everyone who turned up to the fire drill as attended”

Directory

The basics for your own team, without clicking through four screens: adding a new starter.

  • “Hired Sam Jones, starts Monday at Camden. Add him and send the invite”

  • “Who joined in the last two months?”

Communications

Getting the word out, and finding out whether it landed.

Posting and scheduling announcements is the easy half. The more interesting half is afterwards. It can look across your feeds over any period and tell you which posts actually got read, which got ignored, who's doing the posting, and who read a particular one. It can also find a post you half remember without you scrolling for it.

  • “Put the fire alarm notice on the Ops feed for 7am Monday, with a photo”

  • “Town hall next Thursday at Camden. Invite that location and put a broadcast up for the week”

  • “Which posts got the most engagement last month?”

  • “Which announcements are nobody reading?”

  • “Who's posting most across our feeds?”

  • “Find me the post about the Christmas party”

  • “Who actually read the schedule change post?”

  • “Who's said yes to Friday's drinks?”

  • “Catch me up on the kitchen group chat”

  • “Tell Sara thanks for covering last night”

GOOD TO KNOW

If your account has post approvals switched on, an announcement gets submitted for review rather than going straight out, and the Assistant will say which of the two happened. Nothing in this area can be deleted. It only sees chats you're already in, and anything it sends goes as you, not as a bot.

Surveys and Employee Pulse

Reading results for your team is where this helps most. Counting the multiple choice answers is easy enough on your own, but the free text box is where the useful stuff hides and nobody has time to read four hundred comments. The Assistant will read them and tell you what people actually said, including the themes you weren't looking for.

  • “Three question pulse survey about the new schedule, Camden team, publish it”

  • “Summarise what people wrote in the comments box”

  • “What are the main themes in the last engagement survey?”

  • “Anything in there I should be worried about?”

  • “Response rates for everything live, flag anything under 50%”

GOOD TO KNOW

A survey can only be edited while it's still a draft. Once it's out, changing it would lose the answers already in, so the Assistant will suggest a fresh one instead.

Insights

Ask about your team or location's numbers in plain language: logins and app adoption, messaging activity, onboarding and training completion, compliance status, and happiness scores. You can filter by period, location, role, course or module, and compare against a previous period.

  • “How's app adoption going by location?”

  • “Training completion by role, last six months”

  • “Dashboard of adoption, pulse”

  • “Compliance status across all locations”

  • “Which handbook articles are people actually reading?”

GOOD TO KNOW

A few of these are a snapshot of where things stand now rather than something you can ask for a past date. Length of service and new starter retention both work that way. Insights is read only
