The AI Assistant lets admins and managers run All Gravy by asking in plain language. It can answer questions about your data, make changes for you, and pull together reports that would otherwise mean several screens and an export.
For bigger changes, such as building a course, revising articles or setting up work rules from an agreement, the Assistant shows you a preview before anything is created. Some actions are final, such as publishing a schedule week or awarding a badge, and each article below lists those.
What you can ask, by area
Leave and holidays: approve or decline requests with the schedule in view, change allowances and leave types.
Scheduling and time tracking: who's on, open shifts, swap checks, publishing, time tracking and payroll exports.
Building and maintaining courses: build courses and quizzes from your Library, update them when rules change, chase completion.
People and the directory: add new starters, change roles and locations, audit the reporting structure.
Announcements and communications: post and schedule announcements, and see which got read.
Surveys and Employee Pulse: write surveys and summarise the answers, including free text.
Insights, adoption and reporting: adoption, logins, turnover, retention, training completion, compliance and pulse.
Workflows and automations: welcome messages, first sign-in courses, absence alerts and more.
Work and salary rules: set up working time rules and supplements straight from your collective agreement.
To-do lists, reports and incidents: daily check performance, report forms, incident triage.
Badges and recognition: award badges and thank yous, or award them automatically on course completion.
Good to know
Pay and billing details are never visible to it.
It only sees chats you're already in, and anything it sends, such as a chat message or announcement, goes as you, not as a bot.
The AI Assistant is separate from the AI chat in the employee app, which answers staff questions from your Handbooks.
