Understanding Accounts Payable

Learn how to manually create accounts payable or view already created accounts in Ally.

Manual Creation of Accounts Payable

You can manually create an account payable for a partner, student, or school.


STEP 1 - Access

Click on Finance > Accounts Payable in the top menu.


STEP 2 - Use Filters to Find Accounts

Use the search filters to locate the accounts you want to view.

  • You can filter by:

    • Due Date

    • Payment Date

    • Status (e.g., paid, pending, overdue)

    • And other relevant details.


STEP 3 - View Account Information

When viewing accounts payable, you’ll be able to see details such as:

  • Payment Status (e.g., Paid, Pending)

  • Due Date

  • And additional information.


STEP 4 - Manage Accounts Payable

After an account payable has been created, you can:

  • Mark as Paid once the payment is complete.

  • Delete the account if necessary.

  • Edit the Value of the account.


STEP 5 - Create a New Account

  1. Click "New Account".

  2. Fill in the required details about the account.

  3. Click "Save".

  4. The account will now be listed and available for management.


Payment Suggestions

You can also view Payment Suggestions, which help you plan the best time to pay a school or partner based on exchange rate fluctuations.


Important Note:

Accounts payable are automatically generated when you make a sale involving a school or partner with an applied commission rule.
