How to Manage Your Credits

Learn how to access, view, and add credits in Ally.

STEP 1 - Access

Go to Finance > Credits.


STEP 2 - Viewing Credits

  1. Use the filters to select credits for a specific school, partner, or currency.

  2. Credits are listed in alphabetical order, based on the school or partner name.

  3. To view detailed records, click the blue "View Credits" icon next to the desired school or partner. This will show all credits generated for them.


STEP 3 - Adding Credits

There are three ways to add credits in the system:

  1. Canceling a Quote:

    • When canceling a quote, a pop-up will appear allowing you to select cancellation preferences.

    • One of the options is to assign credits related to the canceled quote.

  2. Manual Credit Creation:

    • In the Credits section, click the green "New Credit" button to manually create a credit.

    • Customize all details according to your needs.

  3. From "View Credits":

    • While viewing credits for a specific school or partner, you can add new credits directly for the one you’re viewing.


Important Notes:

  • Credits belong to the agency, not the students.

  • Always ensure the credits are correctly assigned to the appropriate school or partner.
