MyCarrierPackets (MCP) is a carrier compliance management system or software designed to help businesses and carriers manage their compliance with regulations and requirements within the transportation and logistics industry. MyCarrierPackets ensures that carriers adhere to legal, safety, and operational standards.

MyCarrierPackets Credentials

To begin, login to MyCarrierPackets and navigate to the “Integration Tools” tab.

Click the “Add Integration” button and fill out the fields.

Once the credentials are created, use the steps below to add those credentials into Alvys.

🔧Setting up the Integration

  1. Navigate to Integrations

  2. Expand the compliance section of the integrations list and click the crayon icon from the MyCarrierPackets integration box:

  1. This will open a dialog box where you will be prompted to enter your MyCarrierPackets credentials . Once those have been entered, click the “Save” button:

  1. Once the integration is added, if you have existing carriers in MyCarrierPackets, reach out to Alvys support to do manual sync to import all existing carriers into Alvys.

➕Adding Carriers to your MyCarrierPackets Monitoring List

Skip this step If you already have carriers in your MyCarrierPacket Monitoring list .

1.Log into to myCarrierPackets using your username and password

2.Select “Carrier Search” in the left side bar

3.Search for the carrier you would like add to your carrier monitoring list.

  1. Select the carrier to view the carrier profile

  1. Click the “Start Monitoring” button. The carrier will be added to your MyCarrierPackets monitoring list which will be updated in Alvys.

📃View Carrier Compliance in Alvys

After the integration is added and there is a carrier monitoring list in MyCarrierPackets , the carrier compliance data will be updated in alvys every 5 minutes (if there is a change to the carrier compliance in MyCarrierpackets)

In order to view the carrier status in the TMS, Navigate to the carrier page in **Alvys.com** and search for the carrier.

Select the carrier and view the carrier profile, make note of the mcp status

Once the MyCarrierPacket (MCP) integration is added to a subsidiary in alvys, the system checks if a carrier being added to a load is compliant with MCP requirements. If the carrier is on the compliance list and meets the necessary criteria, it's added to the load. However, if the carrier has an unacceptable status, it won't be included in the load.

  • Insurance Coverage

    • Coverage Type

    • Policy Number

    • Issue and Expiration Date

    • Limit Amount

    • Underwriter (Insurance Agency)

  • W9

    • SSN (where available)

    • TIN (where available)
