How to duplicate a video (reuse previously animated clips)

Want to duplicate an existing video? While a one-click duplicate feature isn't available yet, you can reuse previously animated clips in a new or existing project without re-animating them or using additional animation credits.

Coming soon: We're working on a dedicated Duplicate Video feature to make this process even faster. Until then, this is the recommended way to duplicate and reuse your animated content.

To duplicate a video, create a new project and reuse your previously animated clips by following the steps below. This allows you to recreate your video without generating the animations again or using additional animation credits.

Reuse your previously animated clips

1. Open Browse images and animations

In the video editor, click the three-dot menu in the upper-right corner and select Browse images and animations.

2. Select animations

At the top of the window, switch to the Animations tab. Then, under the filter, select All. This will display every animation you've previously created.

Select the animations you'd like to reuse and add them to:

  • a new project, or

  • your current project.

Your animations will be added instantly, there's no need to generate them again.

Will this use more credits?

No. Since you're reusing animations that have already been generated, no additional animation credits are consumed.

Why use this?

This is a great way to:

  • Create multiple versions of the same video.

  • Update text, music, or branding while keeping the same animations.

  • Reuse your best animations across different projects.

  • Save time and animation credits.
