After a homeowner selects you for their project, they may share the times they're available for a phone call. These times are saved to the lead as a call request, and Angi Assistant texts you to coordinate. You can confirm a time or suggest a different one by replying to the text.
Make sure that you have text message notifications turned on from Angi to use this feature.
Calling during a requested time increases your chances of reaching the homeowner. We still recommend contacting every lead as quickly as possible, whether or not it includes a call request.
How call requests work
A homeowner selects you for their project and shares preferred call times.
Angi Assistant sends you a text message with the requested times, the homeowner's information, and project details. Each lead has its own text thread, and Angi Assistant uses a unique phone number for each one.
Reply to the text to confirm a time, or to suggest a different one.
Once a time is confirmed, Angi Assistant confirms it with the homeowner. Angi Assistant also texts both you and the homeowner a reminder 5 minutes before the call.
Please note: You must have text message notifications turned on to receive and respond to call requests. If you don't reply to a call request, Angi Assistant won't send a confirmation to the homeowner, so they won't know when you plan to call. Homeowners can't reply or reschedule in their text thread with Angi Assistant at this time.
If a homeowner shares more than one time, all of them appear in the lead details and in the text message. Reply to let us know which one works best for you.

Call request tags and banners
Tags and banners on the lead details page show where a call request stands:
Call request: The homeowner requested a call and shared their preferred times.
Call scheduled: You confirmed a call time.
Call request overdue: The requested call time passed and no call was scheduled.
The call request banner is removed when you set the lead's status to Connected, Selling, In progress - Won Job, Closed - Won Job, or Closed - Did Not Win Job. Be sure to update the status after you've contacted the homeowner.
Frequently asked questions
What is a call request?
A call request lets you know a homeowner shared specific times they're available for a phone call.
Is a call request a new type of lead?
No. A call request is additional information on an existing lead.
How will I receive call requests?
Angi Assistant sends them by text message, and the homeowner's availability also appears in your lead details.
How do I respond to a call request or change the call time?
Reply directly to the text message from Angi Assistant to confirm a time or suggest a different one.
What happens if I don't reply to a call request?
Angi Assistant won't send a confirmation to the homeowner, so they won't know when you plan to call. We recommend replying as soon as you can.
What happens once I confirm a call time?
Angi Assistant confirms the time with the homeowner and sends you both a text reminder 5 minutes before the call.
Do I have to wait until the requested time to contact the homeowner?
No. Calling during a requested time increases your chances of reaching the homeowner, but you can contact them whenever you'd like.
Why doesn't every lead have a call request?
Call requests only appear when a homeowner chooses to share their availability. You should still contact leads without a call request.
Is this available on the Angi for Pros app and on desktop?
Yes. Call requests are available in the Angi for Pros app and on the web.
Will call requests be sent to my CRM through my API integration?
Not at this time.
