Homeowners use photos to help make hiring decisions. Below are a few tips and suggestions to help make sure that your Projects stand-out.

Uploading your images:

1. Take your photos in landscape mode.

2. Only add high resolution images with a width of at least 1,000 pixels. This will
ensure they display in high quality and don’t look blurry or pixilated.

3. Don’t forgot about the captions! Use words to describe your updates in detail.

4. Copyright is important. Upload only images that you own or are licensed to use.

5. You can upload .jpg and .png files. Remember, you can’t upload from a PDF or

Word file.

Photo suggestions:

1. Include before and after shots if you can.

2. Natural light makes photos look the best. Open those windows!

3. Check the background. Remove equipment, personal items, trash, etc.

4. If possible, work with a professional. Homeowners hire you because you’re an
expert; the same is true for professional photographers.

Your published Projects are prominently displayed on your profile page.
