Patients with an Anima account can add a dependent to their account in their patient dashboard → Settings → Dependents & Children. If they’re unable to, or do not have an Anima account themselves, you can follow the steps below.
If a caregiver calls the surgery to set up an Anima account for a dependent, you’ll need to follow these steps:
Click the purple “Create Request” button in the top right corner of the Anima dashboard.
2. Search for the dependent via the NHS number or first name/last name/email.
3. You should see a message “You should see the message "We could not find an Anima account for this patient.
4. Click "Create new patient account".
5. Click “Register the patient as a dependent” and follow the details, adding the NHS number of the caregiver (they must already have an Anima account setup - if not, please follow the steps above for “Creating an Anima account for a patient if they don’t have one”). Then, fill out the rest of the form to create the account.
