Streamlined Patient Access - No accounts or logins are needed!

  • We'll be releasing further communication & video guidance on this feature as it's a big leap forward for patient access with Anima. Stay tuned or reach out to your account manager for more information! More on the release below πŸ‘‡

  • We've expanded our streamlined experience, allowing patients to interact with your practice without needing to create or log in to an account.

    • The simplified access now includes appointments, self-book appointment links, auto-appointments, and the ability to cancel appointments.

  • How It Works: Patients receive a secure link via SMS or Email, verify with their date of birth, and can immediately access corresponding services.

  • Practice-specific patient links, and request submission without an account: Practices can now share dedicated links for patients to submit requests directly to your organisation, without the need to have an existing account.

    • Note: You will need to update your Practice website with the new unique links to enable patients to access Anima without a login:

    • How to find your unique link: Find your practice's unique link in Organisation Settings, under your test patient details.

      • Using this link, your patients (or their proxies) can fill a basic questionnaire about their demographics, prior to submitting their requests. Patients' submitted details will be matched against Personal Demographics Service (PDS) and the results will be available to clinicians as they review the requests.

This feature is not turned on by default. Please let us know if you wish to enable this for your practice.

Requests & Messaging

  • Improved Request Visibility: Requests now become "Actionable" when a clinic user adds a comment to the request timeline or enters information to the MDT channel.

    • What This Means: Critical patient information is less likely to be missed in the workflow.

  • Confirmation Messages: Patients now receive confirmations when submitting requests, helping them track their care journey.

  • Request status: It is now possible to enter replies from patients through other channels by optionally returning a request waiting for response to actionable when adding a note. This also includes a name change of the status "Patient replied" to "Info added".

Documents

  • SystmOne Integration Improvements: Documents saved to record now have more precise timestamps

  • Archived documents: Documents archived less than 30 days ago can now be viewed under a dedicated "Archived" tab

Interface Updates

  • Auto-appointment Rules: Extended auto-appointment functionality to checkbox-type questions in addition to button-type questions.
