This guide provides instructions for how to transfer your SynthaceHub (and associated devices) to a new Synthace cloud environment. You can find the name of your current cloud environment in the URL you use to log into Synthace:
<your-cloud-env>.synthace.bio
Repeat these steps for each device that is connected to a computer with SynthaceHub:
1. Quit the SynthaceHub application on your device computer. Check the Task Manager and ensure no instances of SynthaceHub are running.
2. Locate the SynthaceHub db folder in your main directory. By default, the file path should be:
C:\Users\Public\Synthace\SynthaceHub\db
Note the actual path of this folder may be different depending on the directory names used by your device's computer.
3. Open the db
folder and locate the file AnthaHub.db
. Without opening it, rename this file AnthaHub-ARCHIVED.db
. Close this folder.
4. Open the SynthaceHub application. You should now see a startup screen asking you to enter the URL for your environment.
5. Enter the URL for your new environment (e.g. https://<your-new-company-name>.synthace.bio
) and click "Select Environment."
6. Once SynthaceHub opens, go to the Devices tab and re-register your device.
7. Open the Configuration Tool for your device and generate a new device config file. Download this config file to the desktop.
8. In the new Synthace cloud environment (online), locate the newly created device in your Device Inventory. Upload the config file as a new configuration.
